CHEN - Skinhealth

60% of what you apply to your skin is absorbed into your bloodstream in 26 seconds.  for you heart to pump, as nutrition, to every cell in your body

What do you know about your skin?

What we should know about our skin, but what many of us don't know, is pretty basic...

I would also like to add that there are no rules when it comes to your body's health, except, doing what is right for your body.

There is no regiment any of us are supposed to adhere to.

The only rules we should follow are the rules we are taught by our body's to need, to be healthier, to live healthier, to find our own unique balance.

There are basic rules of thumb, like basic cleanliness...

But this is something that Skincare has taken way too far.

Clean should NOT damage the body the way Soap Cleansers, popular in Skincare do and what good is "Skincare Clean" if it is causing you your skin conditions and leaving you vulnerable to other diseases and infections?

A truly clean body is a balanced body.

Clean, healthy skin is about maintaining it's healthy, naturally Acidic pH.

Did you know that achieving Clean, Balanced Skin, liberates you from regiments and routines?

Beauty is about achieving Healthy Balance.

Healthy Balance, Balanced Health, is Physically Expressed as Beauty.

Balanced Beauty allows you to listen to your body's needs. You may not always need a serum after cleansing. You may not always need to cleanse using a cleanser, sometimes just a splash of water is enough.  You may not always need to use a butter.  Sometimes all you'll wanna use is a Serum.  How you care for your skin should be about how you listen to the needs of your body.

Your Skin, resuscitated from the ravages of Skincare has a whole lot to tell you...

Tapping into my Tai Chi lifestyle, I was raised in... It's all about feeling.

Health is about the ability to feel what your needs are, not have your mind dictate what a beautifully penned insert tells you, you need.

Start learning to listen to YOU, today!

1) Your Skin is Part of your Immune System

This is your body's first line of Immune System Response.

2) Your Skin is Acidic and it's outer most layer is called it's Acid Mantle

This is to prevent Pathogens, which are Alkaline by nature from invading our Alkaline, Interior.

Babies have skin more Acidic than adults, which is also why doctors tell you NOT to use soap on Baby's Skin.

3) Soap is Alkaline and Destroys your Skin's Acid Mantle

It takes about 2 weeks for your Acid Mantle to be restored and longer for it get stronger.

Destroying your Acid Mantle is the No.1 cause of:

  • Premature Aging
  • Acne
  • Eczema
  • Psoriasis
  • Dermatitis
  • Wrinkles
  • Blackheads
  • Rosacea
Pathogens, flus, bacteria, viruses and fungi are Alkaline by nature.  Our Acidic Barrier protects us from these bugs entering our bodies.  Without a healthy Acid Mantle, we are exposed, left vulnerable to illnesses we could avoid with the help of a healthy Acid Mantle.

4) Natural Oils, Herbs, Natural Butters, Clays and Minerals naturally cleanse, detox, nourish, beautify and sanitize our bodies, beautifying our Skin.

5) Our Skin is our largest organ, it's health is vital to our health, because it is our first line of immune system response.

6) Certain toxins can only be released through our skin.  Sweating is important and products that prohibit sweating are not only toxic, they are hurting your body by keeping the toxins in, that want to come out.  Sweating is healthy and necessary, it also regulates our body temperature and is essential to prevent us from overheating.

7) Our skin accounts for about 15% of our body weight.

8) Our skin renews itself every 28 days

9) Our skin constantly sheds dead cells. Our bodies exfoliate themselves, if we feed ourselves right.  Toxic filler and parabens of skincare are what cause the pore clogging, ingrown hairs an skin problems associated with skin build up.

10) Some nerves of the nerves in the skin are connected to muscles instead of the brain, sending signals through the spinal cord, to react more quickly to heat, pain, etc.

11) The average person has about 300 million skin cells.
